the Arcadians

Location
Sydney, New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
loopy, geeky, fun, open-minded
A brief history from my perspective
I was one of the first Arcadians. I got mixed up with this crowd when I first dialled into Arcadia BBS back in... 1989? Something like that! They were the first crowd who allowed me to be myself, and respected me for being me, despite me being very insecure at the time and having no social skills. Through them, I developed self-respect and social skills, and to this day I thank them for that... even if the social skill that I learnt the most was hitting people over the head with empty 1.25mL Coke bottles...
One of the things I really like about them
They were the first group of non-judgemental people I've ever met, probably because they were so diverse. The group covered a pretty wide age range, were heterogeneous in sexuality and ethnicity, lots of people with disabilities, and had varying political opinions

Anna the Bean

Location
Oakland (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
sincere, good-natured, considerate
A brief history from my perspective
I met Anna at a party that Shelley hosted in December 2001. We dated for several months until she fell in love with another woman. Now we're close friends who regularly see each other when we're both living in the same metropolis.
One of the things I really like about her
Even when I barely knew Anna, I felt relaxed in her company. She's always appreciated me for who I am and respected me for being me.

Aveline

Location
Canberra, ACT
Fitting adjectives
Political. Opinionated. Alternative. Warm.
A brief history from my perspective
Another one of the weird and wonderful people I met through Skud's parties, Aveline was a professional dominatrix in Melbourne when I met her. I socialised with her every time I was in town, and this tradition has continued now that she's moved to Canberra.

One of the things I really like about her
Apart from her ambition and the fact that her more extreme political views make me feel enlightened, she's one of the few people in the world who has really managed to put me in "sub space" while playing.

Avenue A

Location
Oakland (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
creative, independent, frank, fun
A brief history from my perspective
Avenue A regularly has a stall on Telegraph Avenue, where she sells the jewellery that she makes. My friend Yvonne introduced me to her in April 2001, and we dated pretty regularly for the rest of that year. Unfortunately, due to some misfortunes in her personal life, she stopped dating everyone for a while. However, we're still friends, and hopefully we'll start seeing each other again in the future.
One of the things I really like about her
She makes wonderful jewellery and ornaments, and she's even given some to me as gifts. She's also one of the most patient people I know.

BradZ

Location
Mudgee (Central Tablelands), New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
friendly, relaxed, smart
A brief history from my perspective
BradZ just started appearing at Arcaidan events. I'm sure there's a noteworty, loopy story to that, but I can't remember what it is. He's stuck to the crowd, though, especially since he ended up getting married to YvonneZ.
One of the things I really like about him
BradZ is the most occer bloke I know, which goes to show that geeks really do come in all flavours.

Briana

Location
Oakland (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
funny, determined, intelligent
A brief history from my perspective
I met both Briana and her partner at the Fencesitters Ball in San Francisco in 1999. When her partner took me home, Briana sort of came with the package. Since then, Briana has been one of my best friends, and one of the Californians who I've known the longest. I even worked for the same company as her for about a year.
One of the things I really like about Briana
Despite all sorts of setbacks, Briana has a very positive outlook on life. She's also done a great job of raising her son by herself.

Burn Juggler

Location
Sacramento (Central Valley), California
Fitting adjectives
artistic, generous, worldly
A brief history from my perspective
We met while we were working on the L2k project at Burning Man in 2001. We shared what for me turned out to be the most memorable night of that year's Burn, and have gotten together a few times since.
One of the things I really like about her
She's involved with one of the best theatres in Sacramento. When she's not doing that, she juggles.

Christina

Location
Boston, Massachusetts
Fitting adjectives
Thoughtful. Sexy. Adventurous. Punny.
A brief history from my perspective
She was there the first time Sacramento's poly group went to the British Pub on R Street. My first date with her was a few days later, and our first date with Denise was a week or so after that. This lead to a short but intensely happy and fulfilling triad. Christina left town soon after it ended, but the three of us still keep in touch via e-mail when we have time.
One of the things I really like about her
She's great at seeing things from valid perspectives that few other people consider. I also felt like I had the body of a 16-year-old when we were lovers.

Coe

Location
Seattle, Washington State
Fitting adjectives
Fun-loving, kind, geeky, sexy
A brief history from my perspective
I met her in a workshop on pornography at the 1998 Southern Californian Bisexual Conference. The workshop was probably informative, but all the attendees, including the two of us, were too busy getting hot under the collar watching the porn videos playing in the background to notice. Coe and I formed a friendship, and I made regular trips from Sacramento to the Bay Area to visit her in the year or two that followed. Coe moved out of town after that, but we still sporadically keep in touch, especially at Burning Man.
One of the things I really like about her
Apart from the fact that she introduced me to Burning Man? She stuck by me as a friend when the whole M thing was blowing up, and put up with the insecure, incredibly flaky person I was during that ordeal.

Colin

Colin is one of the people I did the BOTS project with. To find out more about him, click the BOTS link in that last sentence.

Christine

Location
Potrero Hill (San Francisco, California)
Fitting adjectives
Cheerful, easy-going, considerate, worldly
A brief history from my perspective
When I worked for Berkeley Consultants, she worked at a nearby Jamba Juice. It was always nice to see her, but it wasn't until I ran into her at an Amy Ray and the Butchies concert that we started hanging out. By that time, neither of us were working on Nob Hill anymore. (The reason I was at that concert, BTW, was because Marti was in town.) We moved into and out of the Castro at about the same time as each other, and still hang out.
One of the things I really like about her
She's the kind of friend I can ring at the spur of a moment and see if she feels like hanging out. She also works in theatre (e.g. Women in Time Productions) and has great taste in film.

Corinna

Location
Toongabbie (Sydney), New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
Friendly. Intelligent. Fun. Refined.
A brief history from my perspective
Corinna was one of many Sydney choristers at a party I went to in the mid-1990s. We introduced each other to various social circles and became friendly casual lovers. This worked particularly well because she was one of the few people who lived close by to far-flung Sydney suburb I lived in at the time. We still keep in touch, and I make sure I meet up with her whenever we're both in the same city.
One of the things I really like about her
She's warming to hang out with and I love picking her brain about science—she knows an awful lot and I never feel patronised.

Rose

Location
Sunset District (San Francisco, California)
Fitting adjectives
intelligent, thoughtful, worldly
A brief history from my perspective
I got to know Rose because she and I are both involved with Hope and Sinboy. We've proven to get along very well, and have fun hanging out with each other. We both wish we had more time to get to know each other, but since we'll be cohabiting in 2003, we'll have plenty of time then. =)
One of the things I really like about her
At age 23, she comes across as having the life-experience of somebody who's in their thirties, but she still lets her hair down and has fun like a kid sometimes.

clairaide (LiveJournal account)

Dancer D

Location
Oakland (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
Warm-hearted, articulate, determined, sensual
A brief history from my perspective
I met Dancer D at the Rabbit Warren in 2001. Since then, we've been getting together whenever our crazy schedules have allowed for it. I really hope that we'll see each other more regularly when I return to California!
One of the things I really like about her
I just love talking to Dancer D—she listens well and tells great stories. She's also one of those people who presses on despite the setbacks.

Denise

Location
Sacramento (Central Valley), California
Fitting adjectives
Generous, easy-going, life-loving, stalwart
A brief history from my perspective
Denise and I started flirting at the Sacramento Natural Food Co-op, where I was a member and she was a manager. Depending on who you believe, I initiated our first date by asking her to help set up a cocktail party I was hosting at my place, or she did by inviting herself to my place several days before the party even happened. In any case, we started seeing each other, and when I realised that her sense of humour was similar to Christina's, I suggested that the three of us go out. The result was a triad, which may have only lasted a few weeks but was an intensely happy and remarkable time for all of us. The three of us still keep in touch via e-mail. Denise got married to somebody else in 2000, but by late 2001, she and I found ourselves back in touch and sharing stories of our pending divorces. Today I consider her one of my sweeties, and I look forward to her frequent visits to the Bay Area.
One of the things I really like about her
I've never met anybody who taste in music is as great as Denise's. When I first went to her place, she was playing music that I hadn't heard since I'd left Australia, because American radio stations have such a limited range of music. Also, Denise really knows how to make a home, especially when it comes to choosing incense to burn.

Diospyros

Location
Pacifica (San Francisco Peninsula), California
Fitting adjectives
ambitious, caring, together, progressive
A brief history from my perspective
I met Diospyros at one of those amazing San Franciscan parties early in 2001. She was finishing her certification as a Chinese medicine practitioner at the time, and since I had just found myself unemployed, we were able to spend a lot of time together. We spent a lot of that time studying, her for her certification exam, and me for my certification as a Java programmer. We fell in love, and I was considering living with her for a while in her original homeland of South Africa, where she wanted to help treat victims of the AIDS epidemic. Several months later, though, when we were both working full-time, we found that the relationship just wasn't working out. We're still very close, and when I live in San Francisco, I still regularly see her for acupuncture.
One of the things I really like about her
She's at least as environmentally and socially conscious as I am and has done heaps of grassroots work in the USA.

Expat R

Location
The Castro (San Francisco, California)
Fitting adjectives
generous, worldly, fun
A brief history from my perspective
I first met her at a Poly Pool Party, but I got to know her better through our mutual involvement with the Small World Brunch.
One of the things I really like about her
She has citizenship in countries on three continents.

GRiPZ

Location
Five Dock (Sydney), New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
interesting, funny, intelligent
A brief history from my perspective
GRiPZ was one of the first BBSers that I ever met; I met him even before the days of Arcadia BBS. It was mostly through Arcadia that I got to know him, though, and I've enjoyed hanging out with him ever since.
One of the things I really like about him
It's not unusual for people to take pride in being a geek, but GRiPZ takes pride in being a nerd. You also have to admire him for the goofy projects he takes on.
Web sites
http://www.arcadia.au.com/gripz/

Hope

Location
Sunnyvale (South Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
warmhearted, intelligent, worldly, life-loving
A brief history from my perspective
I'd known Hope for years through the Bay Area's poly and Pagan community before I finally got to go out with her one-on-one. I simply gave her a call one rainy afternoon in 2001, when she happened to be stuck at home with no car. I always suspected that we'd click, so I was glad that she asked me to come over. My suspicion was right—I felt a connection with Hope that I hadn't felt with anybody else for many years, probably largely due to the fact that we're both globally-aware bi poly geeks with no siblings. It didn't take long for us to fall deeply in love—I'm actually more in love with her than I have been with anybody ever before. I always thought that her primary partner, Sinboy, was cute as well, and now I'm seeing him too. I love my life! In 2003, the three of us plus Rose are moving in with each other.
One of the things I really like about her
I love to see anybody smile, but I get a warm rush through my whole body when Hope does it. And then there's the feeling of connection I have with her—see above.

Jon

Location
Canberra, Australian Capital Territory
Fitting adjectives
fun-loving, warm-hearted, educated
A brief history from my perspective
I met Jon at one of Skud's parties in Melbourne. Since we were both going through similar extra-slutty stages at the time, people correctly guessed that we would get along. I'm not sure how many people would have guessed that it would turn into my first vaguely relationship-like thing with a man, though. We made lots of trips between Canberra and Sydney to be with each other in the mid-to-late 1990s, and his Canberra home is still a warm, welcome crash pad for me.
One of the things I really like about him
I love having conversations about science and politics with Jon. He's also one of the most generous people I know, and knows how to throw a party!

Katie

Location
Riverstone (Sydney backblocks), New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
ambitious, spunky
A brief history from my perspective
Kate and I were both involved with the Sydney Bisexual Network in the early 1990s. We started hanging out in other settings after she moved from the inner city suburb of Chippendale to Riverstone, which is closer to where I was living. We slowly became friends, progressively friends "with benefits", and today I consider her one of my best friends in the world.
One of the things I really like about her
Kate doesn't give up too easily on anything, whether it's making a small business idea a reality, or making a big Mardi Gras parade entry happen.

Lara

Location
Oakland (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
progressive, beautiful, ambitious, warmhearted
A brief history from my perspective
I first met her at the Rabbits' recommitment ceremony, and have gone out with her a few times since. She's heavily involved in her singing and theatrical career so I don't get to see her one-on-one very often, but it's a real treat when I do. I've seen a couple of her performances, and in my opinion, the shows she takes part in range from excellent to outstanding.
One of the things I really like about her
The communal lifestyle she leads in the co-op house she lives in and her striking personality.

Leese

Location
Nowra, New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
fun-loving, friendly, enthusiastic
A brief history from my perspective
Who would have thought that us meeting at that Sydney IRC party in 1992 would lead to one of the most significant relationships in my life? We were "boyfriend and girlfriend" for about three years, doing a lot of world travelling and life travelling together. Her roots are in sports fandom, so she taught me everything I know about rugby league and cricket. She was adopted as a fully-fledged Arcadian. Today she's married to a wonderful guy and has offspring and a mortgage, but we make a point of keeping in touch and seeing each other when we can.
One of the things I really like about her
Even though our lives have gone down very different paths since we were partners, she still keeps up some Mik-and-Leese traditions, especially when they have to do with the band Madness.

M

Location
Sacramento (Central Valley), California
Fitting adjectives
emulous, introverted
A brief history from my perspective
I met M in 1995 when I was on an exchange trip with California State University, Sacramento. After I went back to Australia, we kept in touch via e-mail and eventually started a serious long-distance relationship. We flew backwards and forwards across the Pacific about every nine months to see each other, and eventually, in 1998, I moved to Sacramento to marry her so we could live together. To cut a long, sad story short, our relationship didn't work out, and relations between us have been through many ups and downs since that time.
One of the things I really like about her
She's dedicated to helping adolescents achieve academic success, and teaches them critical thinking in the process.

Marti ("Tigger")

Location
San Marcos (near Austin), Texas
Fitting adjectives
academic, funny, queer
A brief history from my perspective
On IRC in the early 1990s, Marti was introduced to me by a Queer Collaborations friend. We exchanged many long e-mail messages before I finally got to meet her in 1995. I was living in Sacramento at that time, and visited her in Austin during the week that I had off from uni. The week worked well—I'd sleep in her bed while she was out working the graveyard shift at a local supermarket, she'd throw me out of her bed and sleep through the morning while I caught up on e-mail and lazed in the spa, and we'd hang out together after she awoke in the afternoon. Since then, I've managed to get to her part of the world every year or two, and we enjoy hanging out every time.
One of the things I really like about her
Marti and I have a genuine long-term friendship. We may only seldomly see each other and we both procrastinate e-mail terribly, but whenever we get together, we quickly pick things up where we left off.

Masked Laura

Location
The Oakland Hills (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
fun-loving, progressive, attractive
A brief history from my perspective
I first met Masked Laura in 2000, when she was looking for a housemate and I was looking for a place to live. I didn't move in until a year later, but in that time I ran into her at parties once or twice, and always enjoyed catching up with her.
One of the things I really like about her
She's one of the most fun people i know, and gets really creative with costumes and cake decorating.

Nathan

[Here's what Nathan wrote about himself, just for this page:]

Nathan was one of Mik's three rather bizarre Oakland Hills roommates from December 2001 to July 2002. A bit of an eclectic oddball (known, among other things, as a hippy dot-commer), Nathan pursues many pursuits, in the pursuit of a worthwhile pursuit. In the picture here, Nathan is sporting a very fashionable African indigo shirt, bought during his stint of teaching maths in the Peace Corps.

The Platypus

The Platypus is one of the people I did the BOTS project with. To find out more about him, click the BOTS link in that last sentence.

the Rabbits

Location
The Richmond Annex (East Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
community-focused, intelligent, inspirational, fun, generous
A brief history from my perspective
I met Dawn and Lon when they were facilitating a poly workshop in suburban a Sacramento. Dawn happened to be conducting a book reading at The Open Book that night, which was around the corner from my apartment in Midtown. It thus seemed natural for me to escort them there, and in the process, show them where to eat. Over dinner, they invited me to a party at their home, the Rabbit Warren, and I've been a regular there ever since.
One of the things I really like about them
They've made their dream of creating a poly/Pagan community centre a reality by practically making their home open to the public. Where others might merely philosophise about intentional communities, they've put it into practice.
Web sites
http://www.therabbitwarren.org/RWweb/index.htm

Rachel

Location
Stanmore (Sydney), New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
bubbly, activistic, alternative
A brief history from my perspective
I met Rachel at a party in the mid 1990s, where I impressed her enough with my (limited) knowledge of feminist theory for her to give me her telephone number. We were lovers for a while, and I have fond memories of sharing her cool inner city lifestyle when I visited her Enmore home. Although we didn't keep in touch much between when our relationship ended and when I moved to the U.S., we exchanged the odd e-mail after that time. We hung out a bit when I visited Sydney in 2000/01, and I hope for our friendship to reach its former glory as I continue to spend time with her in 2003.
One of the things I really like about her
Apart from her great taste and knowledge in alternative film, I really like her annual Australia Day parties.

Rae

Location
The Inner Sunset (San Francisco, California)
Fitting adjectives
friendly, chatty, mildly perverse =)
A brief history from my perspective
I met Rae at a party at the Rabbit Warren in 2000. We dated for a while, but these days we mostly just run into each other at GLBT/BDSM/Rabbit events and hang out at those.
One of the things I really like about her
She dresses saliently, and does geek work at Stormy Leather!
Web sites
http://www.relache.com/

Reverend D

Location
London, United Kingdom (Formerly from Melbourne, Victoria)
Fitting adjectives
interesting, funny, intelligent
A brief history from my perspective
I met Reverend D at Skud's birthday party in Melbourne in 1996. We were both just big sluts at the time, so we hit it off really well. Since then I've touched base with him on most of my trips to Melbourne. He currently lives in London, and I hope to visit him there a few times when I live in Amsterdam later this year.
One of the things I really like about him
At the time I met him, he was militantly and single-handedly taking on spammers, well before anybody ever thought of making any laws to do it.
Web sites

Richmond A

Location
Richmond, Virginia
Fitting adjectives
sincere, ambitious, friendly
A brief history from my perspective
I met Richmond A through Richmond T back in 1999, when the latter was still female. They both changed gender within about a year of each other, although there were a few months when they lived on separate ends of the country. In that time, Richmond A and I did what I suppose they call "male bonding", and hung out and watched films and stuff. Late in 2000, Richmond A moved to Virginia so he could live with Richmond T again.
One of the things I really like about him
He's got great taste in film, and a positive outlook on life.

Richmond T

Location
Richmond, Virginia
Fitting adjectives
friendly, progressive, creative
A brief history from my perspective
When I first met Richmond T in 1996, he was a woman, named Libby. I was in Sacramento visiting M at that time, and when I moved back to live with her in 1998, Richmond T was my first real friend in that town. I got to know him even better when I started doing volunteer work at KDVS, since he also worked there. I've only seen him one or twice since he moved to Virginia with Richmond A, but I hope we continue travelling to see each other every now and then.
One of the things I really like about him
Richmond T works with the kind of kids that most people would rather forget about. He also got me involved in Radio Theatre.

Rochelle

Location
Mission District (San Francisco, California)
Fitting adjectives
fun-loving, spunky
A brief history from my perspective
She's a colleague of mine at Innovative Interfaces. Since she's from New Zealand, we share a trans-Pacific perspective of U.S. life
One of the things I really like about her
She'll give anything a go if it might be fun... even cricket!

Shelley

Location
Ninth & Irvine District (San Francisco, California)
Fitting adjectives
thoughtful, luscious, warmhearted, fun
A brief history from my perspective
I met her at a Sheets party in the northern Autumn of 2001. I really enjoyed the dating relationship I had with her, but early in 2002 she decided she wanted to put more energy into her relationship with her primary partner and stop dating other people. We still exchange e-mail occasionally, and I hope our friendship continues when I return to the Bay Area.
One of the things I really like about her
She's a professional masseuse with wonderful, caring hands, and really enjoys her work.

Shelly

Location
Greater Los Angeles, California
Fitting adjectives
creative, enthusiastic, attractive
A brief history from my perspective
I met Shelly online at bicafe.com. A few months later, for the first time in over five years, I travelled somewhere to meet a person I'd met online—her. We had a lot of fun together and I hope to see her again soon.
One of the things I really like about her
Shelly is very easy-going and willing to try new things. She also practically lives in the desert! =)

Sinboy

Location
Sunnyvale (South Bay), California
Fitting adjectives
intelligent, pragmatic, worldly, considerate
A brief history from my perspective
Throughout 2000 and 2001, I met Sinboy many times at various Bay Area poly and Pagan community events. I was glad to find another bi poly twenty-something progressive male geek nearby, not to mention a cute one, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to get to know him when Hope and I fell for each other.
One of the things I really like about him
Sinboy has a truly global view of the world, especially when it comes to the media. I trust his view of what's happening in international politics more than I trust any other individual or media outlet.
Web sites
sinboy (LiveJournal account)

Skud

Location
Ottawa, Ontario
Fitting adjectives
Intelligent, ambitious, knowledgable
A brief history from my perspective
I first heard of Skud on the AusBDSM mailing list late in 1995. The next time I visited Melbourne, she heard that I was in town, and invited me over... I delayed my trip back to Sydney as a result. Since then, we've been in and out of contact a few times. Even though she's responsible for a few of my "growh experienes", I've always been glad to have her in my life. And not just for some of the parties she's invited me to!
One of the things I really like about her
She was the first poly-BDSM-geek that I've ever met, and she still goes off the scale for all of those things.
Web sites
q_skud_ (LiveJournal account)

SmilieZ

Location
Sydney, New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
enthusiastic, ambitious, geeky
A brief history from my perspective
SmilieZ is an Arcadian so I almost certainly met him at a BBS event; I just can't remember which one. He talked an awful lot about computers, but we all did, so I mostly remember him talking about the Mr Whippy shop that his parents owned. Arcadians come and go, but he was one of the earlier ones, and he's pretty much stuck to the crowd. (He only recently started looking like Michael Moore, though.)
One of the things I really like about him
Like so many of us, he came up with cool, crazy, geeky ideas. The only thing is, he followed through on most of them and made some of them really happen. For example, back in the days when you could only get on the Internet through the CSIRO or a university, he was creating one of the first private ISPs.

Steve

Steve is one of the people I did the BOTS project with. I've had a little bit more contact with him than the other BOTS people, because he and his (now) wife came to visit me in San_Francisco in 2001. To find out more about him, click the BOTS link in that last sentence.

the Tempest

Location
San Francisco, California
Fitting adjectives
ambitious, sexy, community-minded
A brief history from my perspective
The Tempest and I were both part of the Temple of Atonement theme camp at Burning Man 2001. She didn't live far from my home inthe Castro, so we continued hanging out from time to time.
One of the things I really like about her
She's fun to go out with, has good taste in film and music, and has a dungeon with a view.

Terri

Location
Austin, Texas
Fitting adjectives
attractive, thoughtful, ambitious
A brief history from my perspective
I first met Terri at Burning Man in 1999, but I didn't really get to know her until a few months later, when I ran into her at a Poly Pool Party. We hit it off very quickly, and in the northern spring of 2000, we even lived together while I looked for a permanent place to live in San Francisco. She's fairly settled in Austin at the moment, but we try to still see each other a couple of times every year.
One of the things I really like about her
When I met her, she was a travelling nurse, which meant she lived in a different city every three to six months
Web sites
tavalon (LiveJournal account)

Yvonne

Location
East Bay, California
Fitting adjectives
kind-hearted, intense, spiritual
A brief history from my perspective
I met Yvonne the first day I went to the Rabbit Warren in the northern Summer of 2000. We clicked really well, became lovers for a year or two and and are now close friends.
One of the things I really like about her
Although she often faces hardship herself, Yvonne always has time to help out people in need

YvonneZ

Location
Mudgee (Central Tablelands), New South Wales
Fitting adjectives
animated, charming, funny
A brief history from my perspective
I met YvonneZ towards the end of 1988 on a BBS called Citadel. We first met in real life at the Festival of Sydney's "Symphony Under the Stars", but it was more like "Symphony Under the Rain" because the heavens opened up, causing tens of thousands of people to scatter in all directions. Her guide had gone AWOL so I took it upon myself to help her find her way out of the crowd that resembled a giant flock of panicked chooks. I discovered the power of a white cane: as soon as she unfolded it, the crowd parted like the Red Sea.

YvonneZ and I quickly became best friends, and two of the first Arcadians. She helped me through the tumultuous late 80s and early 90s, and we've kept in touch ever since, even though I moved to the U.S. In 1998 she and her boyfriend, BradZ visited M and me in Sacramento, and I got do do what I'd always promised her I'd do: show her San Francisco.

One of the things I really like about her
